A new and exciting internship opportunity has opened in our revenue team at PPHE Hotel group! As PPHE’s Revenue intern, you will have the chance to work alongside the Revenue manager to support the overall vision, mission and strategic direction of the department and company. You will co-ordinate planned activities with the Sales, Regional, Brand & Digital Marketing, and M&E departments to create long-term value for PPHE!
We are now looking for a Revenue intern from August 2023!
Are you the perfect match?
- You are studying the field of Revenue management, reservations or a related field (HBO or WO);
- You have an interest in learning and executing pricing strategies and tactical positioning as agreed and directed by the Commercial team and Revenue manager;
- You are a team worker: you build effective relationships with colleagues and enjoy working in a team and keep everyone guest happy;
- You can communicate and write fluently in English;
- You are interested in the hospitality industry and are looking for an internship for at least 5 months as part of your study. This internship is offered throughout the year, so if you are interested, please apply and we will check whether a suitable starting date can be arranged for you.
Key tasks and responsibilities include:
- Prepare daily revenue Manager tools and reports as per latest SOP;
- Setup and support weekly and monthly Rooms and M&E forecasts;
- Support the preparation for all meetings such as Revenue Meetings, Commercial Meetings, Business Review Meetings and Budget Reviews;
- Maintain & communicate the selling strategy to all relevant stakeholders;
- Support the Revenue Manager for regular research of local area in terms of upcoming changes in supply and pipeline, Hotel refurbishments, rebranding’s, extensions and any other developments which could affect business levels and market performance.
- Support in analyzing and identifying historical, current and future trends in the marketplace through a wide range of tools and sources
